Ingredients

  • 1lb salmon
  • Cedar planks
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak cedar planks in water for several hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 375.
  3. Melt butter. Combine with bourbon, maple syrup, salt, and pepper
  4. Place salmon on cedar planks.
  5. Coat salmon with butter mixture (only enough for glaze).
  6. Cook salmon until flaky (careful not to overcook). Baste with butter mixture every few minutes.
  7. Serve immediately.
